The private enterprise of five brothers, ex-employees and workers of local shops and industries makes up Barbero S. A., which initiates its activities on 1st September, 1950, with administration and factory in 629 Liniers Street in San Francisco (Córdoba).

The first manufactured product is the Bench Vises. Handiworked and with low resources at first, production taking increase in the middle of the following year when it starts to be manufactured in a serial and standard way.

In 1953 initiates the manufacture of Bench Drills of 13mm. After some time, some different models were added, as well as Bench Drills and Bench Vises, till complete a line of products that satisfices the most demanding trades requests.

In 1957, the firm establish the Grey Iron Foundry . This allow an strict control of the products manufactured as well as in quality, and quantity. All these advances make the brand "BARBERO" ean prestige and soon monopolize the whole national trade, achieving a leadership that keeps since about fifty years.

The marketing of our products in the Latin American market began modestly in the year 1962 increasing the forwarding year on year. This was achieved due to the strict fulfillment of obligations. At present, BARBERO exports to the Latin American market, USA and Europe.

To the obtained success into the "Tool Machines" range, in 1970 it is added the "Centrifugue Home Dryer" (Home Drying Machine for Clothes), achieving in 1987 count on an industrial specially prepared plant (staff) for the manufacture of "Households Articles"; and on 10th September of the same year the firm starts the organization of a new enterprise called BARBERO CATAMARCA S.A., established in Recreo.

The manufacture of ceiling fans started in 1988. This represents the perfect complement of Centrifugue Home Dryer since each product is in demand in different times of the year.

The range of machine tools, as well as household goods, are sold in the domestic and foreign market because of the own company sales organization which has a marketing system with head offices in San Francisco and branch offices, storehouses and agents in strategic points of consumption.
